Kin talks to former classmate and friend Tim Fessenden, PhD, now a scientific editor at the Journal of Cell Biology, about the process behind distributing great science stories and discoveries. Tim speaks on the career choices that led to his current position, the duties of a scientific editor to ensure the claims of the authors are justified, and the review process, including the infamous Reviewer Number Two.
Tim has a great blog about choosing a postdoctoral fellowship opportunity, and was excited to share this article from JCB on an intriguing Drosophila developmental mechanism.
